Being a Registered Nurse, this day last year I graduated.
I’m amazed at how fast a year goes by!
My midwifery study is hard and takes up a lot of time. But I’m still working as a nurse at a nursing home for elderly people with dementia. They’re depending, can be annoying at times, but are always very grateful. The elderly all took a place in my heart and I love caring for them.
I’m looking forward to the coming years!
Because I passed my practical test! Which means I can start to practice some obstetric procedures. I’m now allowed to do a vaginal examination, artificially break the membranes and guide a delivery with the occiput anterior.
So happy and excited!
Stress and sickness always go together. And that’s not very helpfull at the moment.
Tomorrow I have a presentation and have to retake my practical test. Let it be 3pm tomorrow very quick!
This summer we’re doing one last big family holiday. Together with my parents and brother I’m traveling to the USA. Super excited for this trip! We will travel to: NYC, Cape Cod, Boston, Green Mountains, Finger Lakes area, Niagara Falls, Pittsburgh, Lancaster, Shenandoah NP, Washington & Philadelphia.
But first things first 3 more months at Midwifery Academy!
